I made a shitload of icons--66 of them! I've been meaning to post these for forever, and the amount of them have been racking up in the meantime.

Anyway, most of them are HP femmeslash rarepairs, and a lot of the rarest are from the same base.

The bases...I used bases from Getty images, publicity photos of the HP movie actors, my own photos of barbies (*snicker*), a picture I've had forever of Guess model Megan Ewing, and there's a single Saved by the Bell Zack/Slater icon that __hibiscus found the base picture for. The four house gem buttons I created entirely in Photoshop. <3

Okay, so I was thinking...if there's a community for fanartists to post character portraits, I don't know about it.

Would there be interest in a community for posting gen portraits of the Harry Potter characters?

I don't think it would necessarily have to be strictly canon portraits--but beyond all the shipping and uber-fanonizing everything (fun though those things are), G-rated portraits sometimes don't get the love they deserve. :)

He can still hear the twin pops, can still feel himself bumping unexpectedly into Ron’s bare, broad chest in the darkness.

“Thought you’d leave us that easily, did you?” Harry can still feel Ron’s gentle, whispered words moving against his lips, Hermione’s small hands in his hair and on his waist.

Shadows, he reflects later, can only exist when the sun is out.

Okay, I had this (probably silly) idea for a community.

Do you think there'd be any interest in a community like this: A drabble/drawble community that asks ARTISTS to write little drabbles--nothing hard, and not expected to be good--and WRITERS to draw fanart, same quality qualifications? Like--there would be a challenge (like a pairing, situation, series of words, you know--regular challenge stuff), and artists could submit their drabbles/writings and writers could submit their drawings, all with the knowledge that any sort of quality in them is purely considered an impressive bonus. Also, people that are only readers, not writers nor artists, they could choose whichever they wanted to do.

There'd be no requirement to be good at what you're doing--I mean, you could be, who knows--but that's the whole point. A fun fandom sort of game, and trying something new. It'd also give readers a chance to contribute something other than reviews to the fandom, if they'd want to. *shrug* :)

I think the results could possibly be really funny--or really surprising. It'd be a very low-pressure community.
